Background Screening Disclosure & Privacy Notice
Authorization and Compliance Miami Beach LiveScan Fingerprinting is a registered LiveScan provider with the State of Florida and is authorized for direct submission to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). We submit fingerprint and demographic data directly to the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. All information collected on this form is required by the FDLE, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and various Florida agencies to conduct mandated background screenings.
Data Privacy and Security We value your privacy and employ industry-standard security measures to protect your personally identifiable information (PII). Your data is used exclusively for the background screening process as authorized by Florida Statutes and federal law.
Data Retention Policy In strict accordance with FDLE data retention guidelines and state regulatory advice, Miami Beach LiveScan Fingerprinting only maintains applicant files for a period of 6 months. Following this period, all physical and electronic records containing your personal data are securely destroyed and purged from our local systems.
Important Note: Once submitted, your records are maintained by the Florida Clearinghouse. This allows results to be shared between participating agencies, reducing the need for duplicate screenings. These records are held by the State according to their specific statutory retention schedules (typically 5 years).
Applicant Acknowledgment: By checking the box above, you acknowledge that the information provided is true and correct. You authorize Miami Beach LiveScan Fingerprinting to submit your fingerprints and personal data to the FDLE and the Florida Clearinghouse for the purpose of determining eligibility for employment, licensure, or volunteer service.
