Your Social Security Number (SSN) is required to ensure accurate matching within the Federal Bureau of Investigation Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS).
Federal filing fees for FBI, FINRA, e ATF are Non-Refundable once submitted. If your data (SSN, Name, or Date of Birth) contains errors, the federal clearinghouse will reject the submission. This results in immediate forfeiture of all fees and will require a full repayment and a new set of fingerprints to restart the process.
